BMS World Mission - Church & Community Mobilisation (Maternity Cover)

Are you experienced in Church and Community Mobilisation? Are you passionate about mobilising churches in integral mission to transform their situations and lift people out of poverty? BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in over 30 countries on four continents, to help people experience fullness of life in Jesus Christ. Supporting Church and Community Mobilisation (CCM) is one way BMS works with local churches. CCM seeks to envision churches in integral mission and empower them to reach out to their communities and use their God-given local resources in a sustainable and holistic manner. BMS is currently supporting CCM in Africa and Asia through its partner organisations.

As the Church and Community Mobilisation (CCM) Lead, your role will be to oversee the global CCM strategy and ensure it is effectively leading to sustainable and holistic impact. You will work closely with the CCM partners, the CCM Coordinator for Africa, the Head of Programme for Hope for the World, and other CCM stakeholders within and outside of BMS World Mission.

Operation Agri - Administrator

Operation Agri

Operation Agri is looking to recruit a part-time Administrator who will work from home.

As the first point of contact for supporters, both individuals and churches, Operation Agri’s Administrator will present a positive and friendly image of the charity.

The Administrator will need to be able to vary their hours to cope with the fluctuating demands of the position while maintaining their contracted hours, (20 per week), as an average.

The Administrator, reporting to the Chair of Trustees, will be one of two employees of the charity; the other being our Charity Development Manager. All the other work of Operation Agri is undertaken voluntarily by the Trustees and others, or by contractors such as designers and printers.

BMS World Mission - Business Process Analyst

BMS World Mission is looking for a temporary Business Process Analyst to join our small, fast-paced Operations team in providing the organisation with excellent cross organisational services. In this role, you will support the Director of Finance & Operations and Executive Director Team in providing end-to-end support in remodelling and restructuring particular processes and systems within the organisation.

Thornhill Baptist Church - Children, Youth & Families Worker

Hours: five-day week to include Sundays
Salary: £24,000-£26,000 depending on experience

Thornhill Baptist Church, Southampton, is looking to expand their dynamic Ministry Team.

The successful applicant will join their two Ministers on the full-time staff. BMS World Mission - Youth Engagement Officer

Do you want to help young people engage with God’s mission throughout the world? Can you help BMS World Mission continue to make Jesus known and improve the quality of life for thousands of people? If you want to connect and enthuse young people with Jesus’ global mission and inspire volunteers and churches to join you in that, then BMS want to hear from you!

BMS are passionate about mission and working for a world where all can experience faith in Christ and the abundant life only he provides. They want to inspire a new generation of missional believers and help churches to equip and inspire young people. This role will work with churches, youth groups and other networks to help link young people to the work that BMS does globally, to enable all God’s people to play their part in his mission.

This role works with the Church Engagement Manager and across the Fundraising and Communication Department to create communications and products which will inspire youth and young adults to engage with BMS’ and with our story of mission. It will create and maintain relationships with churches, youth groups and others to ensure that young people recognise BMS as an organisation which can take them deeper in their understanding of mission and global transformation.

BMS World Mission - Individual Giving Officer

BMS are seeking an enthusiastic Individual Giving Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in their fundraising strategy, supporting sustainable growth and ensuring our supporters feel valued.

What You'll Do:
• Manage direct mail appeals and develop innovative approaches to increase supporter retention and acquisition.
• Support the creation of new fundraising products and use our database to generate insightful reports on individual giving.
• Champion supporter care by ensuring every interaction with our supporters is inspiring and uplifting.
• Collaborate with a friendly, encouraging, and supportive team to achieve success.

You will lead their team of volunteers in providing for children and young people on Sunday mornings along with the Preschool groups, Youth groups, Messy Church as well as building on the other ministries to children and their families throughout the week.
