Javea International Baptist Church, Spain - Pastor

Javea International BC

Javea is a smallish town about halfway down the Mediterranean coast of Spain and Javea International Baptist Church (JIBC)is a member church of the EMBA.

They are currently without a regular pastor, with ministry being supplied in the interim by a “Squad” of pastors prepared to serve for up 90 days at a time - 90 days being the upper limit for British passport-holders, since Brexit.  The Squad is now in need of a new recruit or two, so they would probably be looking for someone recently retired (or free to serve for some other reason), or maybe someone planning a sabbatical.   In certain circumstances, JIBC would consider an offer from a pastor willing to serve only for a month or a couple of months.  The attached Profile gives a good idea of the set-up.

Squad members have their air fares to and from the UK covered, the use of an excellent apartment as a manse, and the use of a VW Golf.

JIBC is also hoping to appoint a regular pastor and again we would be grateful if you could make this known through your networks.  The drawback is that anyone appointed would need either a passport of an EU country or an alternative qualification to live in Spain.
