Racial Justice
Racial justice issues have been recognised as a key concern for our Baptist Movement for many years, we are working together towards seeing, in our churches and missional communities, the realisation of the vision expressed in Revelation 7:9 – ‘After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.’
Baptist Together National Justice Hub has dveloped or commissioned some helpful resources and intiatives for churches. You can find this here.

Visions of Colour
Visions of Colour is a racial justice training programme designed to aid the process of Baptist ministerial formation and its engagement with justice and society. The ultimate goal is to help Baptist ministers develop action plans suited to their local church and community.

Visions of Colour Reflection Group
We are providing space for all our churches to reflect on exploring the next steps in equipping churches. These online sessions will be an opportunity to share good practice, to build on the Visions of Colour training day and be a question and answer time for how we ground the teaching of Visions of Colour in our day to day life of church.
You do not have had to attend the Visions of Colour training day to attend these sessions. However, if you would like to catch up on the content of Visions of Colour, you can watch it

We Will Repay
Since the murder of George Floyd, the subject has captured the Christian imagination. His murder did more than expose an unjust wound but a global injustice that can be reversed through reparations; a process that intersects both apology and practice; returning stolen resources remains the clarion call.
In this thoughtful, reflective, and accessible resource,
We Will Repay Bible studies support churches as they think through the Biblical rationale for reparations. By using Old and New Testament narratives that support reparations, author Eleasah Louis argues why the God of justice is fully in support of reparatory justice.
There is a paucity of resources that employ the scriptures to champion reparations, so
We Will Repay is a rare find. For churches keen to know why reparations has become a popular conversation but more importantly what the Bible has to say about reparations, We Will Repay is the resource to read.

CYF Racial Justice Resource
The Baptists Together 'Children, Youth & Families Roundtable' are pleased to announce the release of a brand-new Racial Justice Resource. This resource is helpful for all those who are part of the Church but is particularly designed for those who work with children, youth and families. In response to the killing of George Floyd in 2020, and the Black Lives Matter protests, the roundtable felt a strong need to create a resource that could help the church start the conversation and engage with the very serious topic of racial justice with all ages.
This resource offers a variety of ideas, historical content, and practical resources to help your church take those crucial steps to better understanding and celebrating black culture, diversity, intentional equality, and justice through the lens of our God who calls us all to 'Love your neighbour as yourself'.
