Disability Justice
Along with all of Baptist Together we believe that disability, in all its wide variety, should be part of the conversation of the whole church.
We are developing this area of the website with resources that we hope that these will help churches, pastors and anyone else who wants to think more deeply about disability from the point of view of Christian faith and church practice.
Talking About Disability, Faith and the Church
The Baptist Together Website provides an area to help churches, pastors and anyone else who wants to think more deeply about disability from the point of view of Christian faith and church practice. Many churches have excellent inclusion statements and a real desire to get to grips with what those statements say. The point of these posts is to provide some Christian theological and wider resources to help make those statements a living reality for all of us. We believe that disability, in all its wide variety, should be part of the conversation of the whole church. These posts are therefore not confined to any one aspect of disability, but aim to be as widely relevant as possible.

Invited to Belong
Invited to Belong (a partnership between Youthscape and Urban Saints) is a six-part journey to consider, alongside those you work with, how you might invite young people with additional needs to find a place of belonging within you community, your youth group, your church. Inside the resource are six envelopes, designed to be opened in order, each with a different reflective task, activity or challenge inside.
