SCBA Leaders' Day

 

SCBA Leaders' Day & AGM - Thursday 18th June 2026

SCBA are please to invite you to the SCBA Leaders' Day & Annual General Meeting on Thursday 18th June 2026, 10am-3pm at Amesbury Baptist church.  Please encourage as many of your fellowship as possible to join us on this very special

The cost is £10, £40 for groups of 4 or more and free for under 30s and for those who are unemployed.  Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.

The day will be held at Amesbury Baptist Church, Butterfield Drive, Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4 7SN.  Please join us for a time of worship and sharing what God is doing in our churches, chaplaincies and missional communities.

We are delighted that Phil Knox from the Evangelical Alliance will be joining us as our keynote speaker on the theme of "Church at the Crossroads".  Phil will help us to reflect on making the most of the missional moment we are in and how we can shape our ministries to adapt.

 

Annual General Meeting
The afternoon will include the Annual General Meeting 2026 of Southern Counties Baptist Association.  

Appointment of Church AGM Delegates
Each church in membership with SCBA has a minimum of one voting delegate to the Annual General Meeting, plus the minister (if in post); plus one additional delegate for every 100 members in excess of 50 members (e.g. up to 149 members = 2 delegates (plus minister), up to 249 members = 3 delegates (plus minister), up to 349 members = 4 delegates (plus minister)).

The day is open to all who wish to attend, so please share the information with all your fellowship, but only those delegates registered will be able to vote.
