1st November - The theme for this year’s Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer is Living the Good News: Faith in Action, drawing from James 2:17 which reminds us that faith should not be merely believed but lived. Please do join in the Day of Prayer which is always held on the first Monday of November. (BWA Women's Day of Prayer)

8th November - A prayer for Remembrance Sunday from the Armed Forces Christian Union:
Father God, we come to you today so thankful for the freedom that we enjoy in our country. We remember the sacrifice of all those who have given their lives to secure that freedom in the two great wars and all the areas of conflict which have arisen since. Lord, we pray that you continue to lead and guide our military today and, in the days ahead, and that the leaders of our Armed Forces will always seek your wisdom in their planning. Amen (Armed Forces Christian Union)

15th November - The week after Remembrance Sunday is marked as Inter Faith Week, an annual initiative dedicated to strengthening interfaith relations. The 2026 theme "Lighting the Way for a Shared Future” is a celebration of hope. Inspired by the symbolism of light across faiths and traditions, the theme reflects a shared belief that even in challenging times, communities can come together to build understanding, trust and friendships. 22nd November - This week the Baptist family will be praying for our Association.

29th November - This month marks the 20th anniversary of the Joint Public Issues Team. Please pray for this ecumenical Team, giving thanks for their work enabling and encouraging churches to work together for peace and justice, and for the realisation of their ‘Six Hopes for Society’. 1st - 7th November - Relief After Disaster - BMS doesn’t just react to disasters around the world, we prepare for them so we can respond quickly and effectively when they happen. In 2025, 603,556 people were assisted after a disaster through BMS projects and partners.

8th - 14th November - Issa Elbechara - Issa works with Quest Academy and serves as a leader in the Arabic church. He also provides training across Europe to equip churches to reach Arabic, Farsi and Dari speaking communities in Europe effectively.

15th - 21st November - Pastor J - from Mizoram, India, working in Cambodia as a missional leader. He helps students hear the good news and enables local evangelists and church planters to share God’s love across the nation.

22nd - 28th November - Jackline Akong - Jackline works in Kasese District, western Uganda, training church and cultural leaders to respond to domestic violence in communities supported by BMS’ partner Justice Livelihoods Health (JLH).

29th November - 5th December - Rev Barnabas Hembrom - Rev Barnabas is the Mission Coordinator at Bangladesh Baptist Church Sangha in Dhaka. He is also pastor of a local church and a tutor at the College of Christian Theology. Bangladesh has experienced many upheavals recently.
