15th December - Please pray for Ryde Baptist Church on the Isle of Wight, Dorchester Baptist Church in Dorset, and Salisbury Baptist Church in Wiltshire.

22nd December - Please pray for Downton Baptist Church in Wiltshire, Sandhurst Baptist Church in Berkshire, and Drayton Baptist Church in Oxfordshire.

29th December - Please pray for Sandown Baptist Church on the Isle of Wight, Easthampstead Baptist Church in Bracknell, and Windrush Church in Witney.

1st December - This week we pray for Webnet – the West of England Baptist Network. Pray for their work in helping Christians fully engage in the mission of God in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, North Somerset, and Bristol. (WEBNet)

8th December - Please pray for the Faith and Society Specialist Team as they work to share stories, resource, network and connect our Baptist family.  (BU Faith & Society)

15th December - This week we pray for the Southern Counties Baptist Association. Please pray for the Association as they seek to inspire, connect and resource the churches in their area and their leaders by growing and forming healthy churches in relationship for God's mission. 

22nd December - Looking towards Christmas, we rejoice in God’s sustained presence, even when things are not easy. We remember that God is always with us and the story we share and celebrate is a story that is our gateway to eternity.

29th December - As we come to the end of 2024, take time to reflect on the past year. Pray that we may see where God has blessed us and challenged us; and ask for God’s guiding presence for the year ahead.

1st - 7th December - Heart for the Gospel - Millions of people are yet to hear the gospel, receive the Bible in their own language or join other believers in communal worship of the triune God. The task of preaching the gospel to all nations is unfinished. Please pray that BMS global collaborations will lead to more people hearing the gospel. 

8th - 14th December - Intercultural Learning - More than two-thirds of Christians in the world are in the Global South. The vision of BMS’ Department of Intercultural Learning and Collaboration (ILC) is to mobilise, train, resource and partner with the Church in the Global South for world mission through catalytic collaborations.

15th - 21st December - Fundraising - The apostle Paul often writes about how we all have a part to play in the body of Christ. Our shared goal is to use God’s resources for his work and his glory. Fundraising is an important ministry within the body of Christ, and we need people to fulfill this work generously.

22nd - 28th December - Bethlehem Bible College - BMS World Mission’s partner Bethlehem Bible College (BBC) provides theological education and training in Arabic and aims to equip, encourage and enable the Christian community in the Holy Land to remain and serve in the region. BMS has partnered with BBC since 2011.

29th December - 4th January - Ingrid and Roger Hamlet - Ingrid and Roger Hamlet joined BMS World Mission earlier this year as specialists in orthotics and prosthetics, respectively. Having completed their missions and French language training just outside Paris, they will be relocating to serve at Guinebor II Hospital in N’Djamena, Chad, where they will set up a Prosthetics and Orthotics Department in early 2025.
