Having secured Degree Awarding Powers in September 2022, Spurgeons's College is in the process of delvering its strategic plan of becoming a Baptist University.

As part of this strategic plan, the College is looking to recruit part-time and/or full-time faculty members to teach Practical Theology, Church History and Christian Doctrine.

The College is open to creative conversations about how these roles may be filled in terms of the hours committed and has the budget to appoint multiple full-time and/or part-time roles.

The candidate(s) will be expected to participate fully in the life of the College community.

It is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a Christian.

Spurgeon's College is looking to appoint a dynamic Head of Validation to prvide management and active delivery of their validation pricesses as they pertain to programme design, development, academic validation and managing the College's approach to collaborative partnerships (validation and franchise). Working closely with the College's Senior Management Team, the Head of Validation will play a key role in ensuring that the College's new academic programmes are project-managed to successful completion and the 'in prospect' and potential academic collaborative partnerships are project managed to successful implementation.

The College is looking to appoint a dynamic individual to provide academic management and leadership within the College, especially as it seeks university status and research degree awarding powers. The candidate will have the opportunity to teach and to have one day a week ring fenced for research.
